start eve with shortcut change like "D:\games\eve\eve.exe /end /LUA:OFF" this will allow eve to store the stuff and settings and yada within the eve folder (where it belongs afaik :P ) maybe that fixes your problem, and its easier to check whats...

i only got 1 physical vidcard aswell, and i use 2 monitors. and in eve i got 2 "vidcards" to pick from, where vidcard 1 is "aimed" towards monitor 1, and vidcard2 is aimed towards the other monitor. it makes some sort of difference regarding slug...
